On phones, each builder appears in its own card so the complete comparison is visible without horizontal scrolling. Starting prices are not necessarily like-for-like quotations. Compare included equipment, options, warranties and the condition of any donor vehicle. Timelines may measure different stages and can change with build-slot availability.
How we prepared this comparison.
We reviewed publicly available builder pricing, model pages and timelines on November 3, 2026. The figures shown are each builder's advertised starting price for the specified model or configuration, not identical equipment packages or guaranteed quotes. HighLine's $189,000 figure is for its standard complete build; restoration of a customer-owned Bronco is quoted individually.
Gateway's $250,000 entry refers specifically to its Coyote Edition, not its lower-priced Fuelie Edition. ICON's listed starting prices refer to Roadster configurations; other body styles cost more. Timelines use the builders' own published definitions: HighLine's approximately 12 weeks begins when production starts, while Gateway's approximately 18 months is stated from deposit to delivery. Do not treat those durations as directly equivalent.

When evaluating a custom Bronco, the details behind the quote matter as much as the price itself.
What's included in the base price?
Ask for a written specification. HighLine's $189,000 standard build includes a Coyote V8, your choice of transmission, heated leather, A/C, power windows, and upgraded brakes and suspension.
Is the body new or restored?
Understand whether your build uses new licensed steel or repaired original sheet metal. Ask whether it retains an original frame or uses a custom chassis, and how registration and VIN documentation are handled.
When does the build clock start?
Ask separately about the wait for an available production slot and the actual build time. HighLine's roughly 12-week estimate refers to the time after work begins, not necessarily the date you place a deposit.
What is covered after delivery?
Compare warranty length, who pays for repairs, transport responsibilities, exclusions and deductibles. HighLine provides one year of bumper-to-bumper coverage and separate Ford-backed powertrain coverage.
Who is responsible for your build?
Find out who will answer your questions, help with finishes and approve the finished vehicle. At HighLine, the owner remains personally involved from design through delivery.
What happens when your Bronco is finished?
Ask about final inspection, payment timing, transport and post-delivery support. HighLine can arrange enclosed transport throughout the United States and internationally.
Is HighLine right for you?
We build the kind of classic Bronco we'd want to own and drive. That won't be the answer for every buyer — and that's okay.
HighLine may be the right fit if...
You want a Coyote-powered 1966–1977 Bronco for enjoyable regular driving, with handcrafted leather, heated seats, air conditioning and other comforts included in the standard build. You also value detailed customization and a direct relationship with the team doing the work.
Another builder may suit you better if...
You specifically want an all-electric drivetrain, a specialized competition-focused off-road vehicle, or a limited-edition package unique to another builder. The important thing is to commission the Bronco that matches how you actually intend to use it.
A few more things to know.
How does HighLine Classics compare to Velocity Restorations?
Both offer classic Ford Broncos with modern Coyote 5.0L V8 power. HighLine's standard complete build starts at $189,000 in Hubbard, Oregon, while Velocity advertises Broncos starting around $264,900 and builds in as little as 14 weeks. HighLine's typical 12-week production time begins once work starts, so neither figure includes a guaranteed wait for the next open build slot.
How does HighLine Classics compare to Gateway Bronco?
Both build Coyote-powered classic Broncos. HighLine's standard complete build starts at $189,000 and typically takes about 12 weeks after production begins. Gateway lists its Coyote Edition from $250,000 and approximately 18 months from deposit to delivery. Those are different timeline measurements, so buyers should ask each builder for a current estimated delivery date and full equipment quote.
How much does a custom classic Ford Bronco from HighLine Classics cost?
A standard HighLine Classics build starts at $189,000. The final price depends on optional equipment, design choices and any custom work beyond the included specification.
How long does HighLine take to build a classic Bronco?
A typical HighLine build takes about 12 weeks, or roughly 1,000 hours of work, once production begins. The start date depends on available build slots and should be confirmed before reserving.
Can HighLine restore a Bronco I already own?
Yes. HighLine Classics offers full custom restorations of customer-owned 1966–1977 Ford Broncos as well as complete builds using donor vehicles the company supplies.
Does HighLine offer a warranty?
Yes. HighLine provides a one-year bumper-to-bumper warranty backed by HighLine, with two years or 24,000 miles of Ford-backed engine and transmission coverage, and no deductible.
Do I need to choose every option before reserving a build?
No. You can begin by discussing your vision and reserving a production slot. Our team will help you work through paint, leather, wheels, top and other details during the design process.
Can HighLine deliver a Bronco outside Oregon?
Yes. HighLine works with customers across the United States and can coordinate enclosed delivery domestically and internationally.
